Easy to install, super strong!
I had always sort of scoffed at the idea of strapping furniture to the wall. I did that prior to having our third child who incidentally, is a ninja monkey. You know, you have a couple kids and you think you've got it down but really you don't. You just don't know what you don't know. Then you realize what you didn't know and you buy hardware to strap your furniture to the wall. Anyway, this kit is fabulous. I installed it before work one morning in under 6 minutes. The hardest part is finding the stud. Make. Sure. You. Find. The. Stud. This is mission critical, otherwise all your work is for naught when the thing rips a chunk of drywall out on its way down. But enough of the negativity. On to the positive. It is low-profile. If you install it as recommended underneath, you can snug your bookshelf back up just like before. Redecorating? Slap some spackle and little paint on there and cover that little imperfection right up. Your kid survives toddler-hood and you can sleep at night. Win-win.

Looking for serious furniture anti tip hardware.. look no further
Pretty sure if you install a pair of these properly, it could hold a car in place.. they are seriously sturdy!!! The piece we have a pair of these installed on is extremely heavy.. installed two clips and the piece is not moving at all.. Pros: + extremely sturdy + good hardware (screw heads don't break, etc) + directions are pretty self explanatory, nice they give you different options + pretty easy to install (find stud, screw one end in place, install other end under furniture top and clip wire into place, done) + the clips can be undone to move the furniture Cons - sold individually, will add up if you are doing multiple pieces - does a little damage to the back of the piece (wasn't a real negative as it's the back and it is pretty minimal) If you want the best, get these.. worth the investment

Must-have for every parent
We have these straps on all the dressers in our house and they've been installed for about a year or so, right after my son transferred to a toddler bed. This week I unfortunately got to test it out in action. I was getting dressed and asked my son to go in his room to get something. A few seconds later I heard a loud thud - I ran in and saw him sitting inside his top drawer! He had opened all the drawers and climbed up them like stairs. The dresser must have shifted forward and then back when he pulled the weight forward. Gave me a huge scare, but I'm so thankful we anchored the furniture in his room to the walls and that these straps really work!

VERY secure! High confidence in this wall anchor system.
Finally got around to installing this anchor on the back of an old-school dresser in my toddler’s room. Had meant to install it immediately upon delivery, but you know how that goes. Luckily she wasn’t smashed by a 400 pound dresser in the mean time! Installation took about 7 minutes tops. VERY VERY secure when screwed into a wall stud. Pro tip: Make sure you are attaching it to an actual piece of hard wood on your furniture and not crappy particle board.

Great to child-proof your home.
With a baby on the way we decided it was time to start baby-proofing the house, because sooner or later there's a lot of furniture that can pose a tip hazard to youngsters. There are various products on the market from the cheap plastic brackets that often come with flat pack furniture, to various other systems. But I had this vision of something that was easy to install, tough, stylish, and easy to remove if needed. And as luck would have it, this product existed that frankly was just what I was looking for. Locate a stud and screw on piece to the stud. Screw another piece to the furniture and attach the two with a small steel cable. The attachment mechanism is a thick metal pin and safety clip. Really so easy to install. Personally, I have a specific screw I like to use around the house that goes in and holds well (Spax). So used that going into the stud (you are probably going to want a stud finder to do this right). The supplied screws attached well to the furniture. When ordering, check the prices because they often have better pricing for buying more than one, but not always in a logical way. So a four pack is sometimes better value (lower cost per unit) than say a six pack. So check the math before selecting which has the best deal going.

Very nice anti-tip kit
The kits are a bit pricey, but the parts are high quality and it was easy to install. I have a couple more pieces of furniture that I need to anchor and am going to order more of these kits. Definitely recommend them.

Best anti tip solution on the market
Everything you want in an anti tip solution. Heavy duty hardware. Cotter pin quick removal pin system for easy movement of furniture. Holds up over time. Long screws to reach the stud through sheet rock. Short screws to attach to the underside of a table, desk, bookshelf without protruding through the surface. Price is very affordable. To me it's the best solution on the market.

A Life Saver!!!
This works. I was getting lunch ready and my 2 year old started to climb on our blue chest. The anti-tip kit protected her. We will be buying more!! This is what it looked like after I ran over to grab our little girl.

Better than expected with the features, easy install
You wont need metal to hold up a set of shelves that tip if you install the anti tip hardware properly, but it also wont suffer to deformation and possible failure like some of the cheaper models reviewers have said. The installation was quite easy. I removed the drawers, measured the height, drilled a hole (if needed) into the back of the shelves, installed the two screws into the wall anchor with a screw gun, put in the chord and pins to BOTH anchors, and finally attached the second anchor to the inside on the drawers without any slack. *Make sure your anchor is secured in solid wood that is as thick as stipulated in the instructions. The pin system is a life saver. I have one anti tip system that is plastic zip ties, and to move those shelves if something falls under or behind I would have to cup the zip ties. With this, I just un pin one side and it's mobile, then pin it back in when I'm done. Given the price, I am extremely satisfied and would buy these again.

Superior to all the plastic junk everyone else sells
I'm an engineer and spent quite a bit of time researching the anti-tip products, very unhappy with the common plastic device. It didn't make sense to me to have them strapped from the top of the bookcase to the wall above the bookcase. Why? Cause when it tries to fall forward, the weight of it will likely pull the screw out of the wall (even with an anchor) or tear through the top of our MDF bookcase. I watched the video associated with this product and started doing my happy dance. Sure, you have to cut a hole in your precious bookcase and position it such that it screws into a stud. But so what! This product, installed correctly, will definitely not fail. I am happy to know that the shelves might break if my kids climb on it but it will NEVER fall on top of them.
